It is our mission to provide training to jail professionals throughout the country. In this challenging economy, training budgets have been slashed. Training is an essential part of the professional growth and the best way to lower liability. In an effort to do our part to assist agencies, the registration fees for our classes have not been increased this year. We are also offering $100 off advance registration fees! So, register early and SAVE!
Fort Hays State University (FHSU) and AJA have joined together to offer our members high quality, high access online distance education undergraduate degree programs, graduate programs, and certificate options in the fields of Justice Studies and Security Management.
To help agencies provide their own in-house training, AJA offers several in-service training tools designed to address specific topics. AJA's Jail Operations Bulletins (JOBs) & JOB DVDs, and the Write it Right Quarterly(WIRQ) are designed to assist all jail personnel with the day-to-day issues that impact jail operations. Jail Managers Bulletins (JMBs) emphasize techniques and strategies to assist supervisors and managers.
